Church Facilities
The LABC church building and office are used by many groups in many different ways. Here are the facilities that are available.
Church Building
The church building was designed for flexibility and maximum use. It has three major areas that can be used independently. Safety exits and access to kitchens and restrooms are provided in each area.
  • The Sanctuary, Narthex, and Social Hall can be isolated for adult classes and meetings by folding walls. When the walls are open, the combined space can accommodate large banquets and expanded holiday services. There is a fine sound system and the Sanctuary has a “loop” installed for the hearing impaired. This area of the church is handicapped accessible.
  • All furniture in the Sanctuary is moveable – even the pipe organ console. Creative, innovative settings are possible, such as worship in the round. Special programs of music, drama, and dance can be staged. The nearby Music Room converts to a Bride’s Room, or with the divider closed, it provides dressing areas for theater productions and baptisms.
  • The main floor classroom area serves our Church School grades 1 – 6 on Sunday mornings. During the week, it houses the Edgerton Child Care Services. Adjacent to this area are offices and a nursery complex.
  • The basement has a large multi-purpose room with kitchenette. This space also serves neighborhood groups, as does the adjacent classroom.
Webster House
Webster house is located across the street from the church at 57 Ambrose Street. It offers a comfortable meeting room on the ground floor. The dining room and kitchen nearby make this a popular gathering place. The Church Business Office is also on the main floor. The second floor has offices for the Pastor, Assistant Pastor, and other staff. The custodian’s residence is on the third floor.
