The LABC Refugee Mission Support Group first met on Palm Sunday, April 1, 2007.  The groups function is to welcome and assist the new Burmese, Karen, and Chin families that are arriving in the Rochester area.  Many have begun attending our church.  This group will develop personal supportive relationships with the new families. Also, it will help with informal and /or formal supplemental English tutoring and aid them in their transition to American culture.
