Lake Avenue Baptist Church Celebrates Gay Pride in Rochester!
On Saturday, July 18th our Welcoming and Affirming members and friends marched in the Rochester Gay Pride Parade. We were among many church groups marching including the First Unitarian and First Universalist churches, the "More-Light" Downtown United Presbyterian church, the Episcopal churches of Rochester, & Spiritus Christie Church. It was good to see these religious communities joining our church in affirming GLBT people publicly.
