Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir enthusiastically sings music of all types for worship services. This group also does several larger works during the year.

The Chancel Choir, directed by our organist, Robert Kerner, is a versatile four-part ensemble of 12-16 experienced singers. Its repertoire runs the gamut of sacred choral literature, from the Renaissance to the contemporary, a capella, or accompanied, including pop, modern, gospel, spiritual, and even jazz idioms. In addition to providing weekly anthems, introits, and other service music, the Chancel Choir presents at least two larger works for chorus and instruments each year, usually during the Christmas and Easter seasons. Recent past offerings have included various Bach Cantatas, Handel’s Messiah, Schütz’s Christmas Story, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Rutter’s Requiem, and Luboff’s African Mass.
