Adults
Our adult spiritual growth and education small groups meet on Sunday mornings and at other times during the week September through May, with occasional special study groups in the summer. Last year's offerings included a gay theology class, Bible study , a small group practicing meditative Praying of the Scriptures, and forums on varied social justice issues. During the week, we had Lenten Bible study groups and a book study that met in members' homes.
In September on Sunday mornings from 11:30-12:15 the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Theology class will resume with a study of Jesus, the Bible, and Homosexuality by Jack Rogers led by Biblical scholar, Dr. Darrell Lance. A Bible study of Amos and Hosea will be led by Amy Hopkin. The Monday noon study group with Pastor Peter Carman will begin again with a a book study or Bible study for the fall.
