Scholarships
Lake Avenue offers three scholarships for members and friends. The John Wilkes Scholarship provides support for church members and neighbors interested in pursuing post-secondary educational opportunities. The McMeekin Scholarship provides support for members attending any American Baptist- related college. The Vinton Scholarship provides support for members attending Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School or another accredited seminary program in preparation for ministry. More specific information on the application requirements and scope of these scholarships is available from the church office.
